Suggested Bequest Wording
When naming Alberta Lung in your will, please be sure to quote our organization’s correct legal name: Alberta Lung. Our head office is located at
P.O. Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, Alberta, T6E 6K2
Here are some sample wordings that donors use:
1. For a specific sum of money:
“I give to the Alberta Lung Association, the sum of $______ to be used at the discretion of the organization.”
2. For a percentage of your estate:
“I give to the Alberta Lung Association, ____% of my estate, to be used at the discretion of the organization.”
3. For the residue of your estate once debts, taxes, administrative expenses, and specific bequests have been paid:
“I give to the Alberta Lung Association, all (or ______%) of the residue of my estate, to be used at the discretion of the organization.”
