UPDATE – October 22, 2025
We want to share an important update with full transparency. Late yesterday, we learned that Raise Athletics—the venue for our upcoming pickleball event—has been temporarily closed. Here’s the statement from Raise:
“Following a routine building inspection, a few remaining construction-related items were flagged that need to be finalized before we can resume activity in the space. With safety as our top priority always—we’ve temporarily closed the facility to complete these steps.”
As a result, we’ve made the tough decision to postpone the event. We understand this may be disappointing, especially with so many of you rallying to support this cause with such energy and heart. Please know that we’re already working on a new event date, and we’ll be in touch as soon as it’s finalized.
In the meantime, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you for your incredible support. Your support continues to make a meaningful difference for Breathing Space and those living with lung disease. All donations received to date—and any moving forward—are being held in a segregated account and will be used only once the event takes place.
This event will happen—and when it does, we’re going to have an amazing day of connection, community, and pickleball for a truly meaningful cause. Thank you for standing with us and making a real impact.
