How quickly life can change! My husband Brad was working as a Pastor for the Lutheran church for many years. Brad was healthy all his life. He was active, a good weight, never smoked and lived a healthy life. And then, Brad begun to feel ill with coughing and great fatigue. You never imagine something like this could happen.

Nine-year-old Emma, loved nothing more than chasing her friends around the playground. But last year, that simple joy became impossible. Severe asthma attacks left her gasping for breath, terrified and exhausted. Her mother, Jennifer, recalls rushing to the emergency room three times in one month.

Imagine watching your child struggle for every breath. The fear. The helplessness. The desparate prayers for relief. That was our reality when our baby, Alice, fell gravely ill.
