Babies and children in hospitals suffering from apnea are unable to go home with their loved ones without necessary and expensive equipment required to help them breathe. For many families the reality of their child coming home seems impossible as these machines can cost several thousands of dollars.

Since 2014, Alberta Lung has been providing respiratory equipment to families in need to help get children home with their loved ones. This program is funded entirely by individual donors who believe that every family should have the opportunity to be home together. Listen to Hunter’s story in the below video.

Due to increased need and funding constraints, we have had to pause this program.

To support critical access to equipment and medication for lung disease patients in need, donate now.

With Alberta Lung’s assistance, we received a CPAP machine for our son’s sleep apnea. It was a life-saver for our family. It’s so important for people to know how crucial these patient support initiatives and programs are.
